Prince El Hassan bin Talal (Jordan)
Co-chair of Board of Advisors
Internationally renowned for his efforts on behalf of pluralism and human rights, His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal is the author of seven books and is actively involved in a number of institutes and committees in Jordan and around the world. Currently President and Patron of the Arab Thought Forum, President of the Club of Rome, and Moderator of the World Conference on Religion and Peace, he is a founding member and President of the Parliament of Cultures and sits, as well, on the Board of the Nuclear Threat Initiative. In September 2003, Prince Hassan was elected Chairman of an Independent Eminent Experts group, appointed by the Secretary-General of the United Nations to implement the Declaration and Program of Action of the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance.
