Eduardo Serra Rexach, former Spanish Minister of Defense, is founder and President of Eduardo Serra y Asociados (ESYA). He also currently serves as Vice–President of Fundación everis (everis Foundation). Until 2005, Eduardo Serra was President of the Real Instituto Elcano, an independent, private foundation established in Madrid in 2001 to study international developments from a Spanish perspective. Eduardo Serra served as President of the Royal Board of Trustees of the Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid from 2000–2004, and he was President of UBS Warburg España from 2000–2006. From 1977 to 2000, he held a wide range of positions in the Ministry of Industry and Energy, the Foundation for Help Against Drug Addiction, and several private businesses.
