Assistant Director Andrea Stanton hosted a three-person delegation from Spain, composed of three women active in human rights, women’s, and cultural and religious dialogue organizations, on January 23 to discuss means of effective community organizing for minority populations. The conversation focused on best practices for programming aimed at effecting changes in popular and policy-maker perceptions, as well as on the role of institutional partnerships in developing innovative projects for community engagement.
The visit was arranged under the auspices of the State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program.
